Will the Apple Watch Succeed?

You know the line: "Nothing is guaranteed except death." With the Apple Watch being released in March, nobody can guarantee its success.  However, I think that it will be a success, and I'm going to give you my reasons why...

People stick with what they're familiar with. If you've been using an iPhone for most of your life, you're probably not going to buy an Android Wear Device. You know that you are familiar with the OS of Apple, which is iOS. You don't want to spend a ton of money on something if you're not familiar with it. So, if 10 million people bought iPhones within the first week, and let's say 8 million were pure Apple users, you have an excellent chance of selling 8 million watches.

Secondly, people care about brand names. For example, now, when someone pulls out an iPhone from their pocket, the first thing you think is: This guy has class. Likewise, the Apple Watch will also represent class, while other wearables will look inferior in comparison. People will buy it just to look cool; they want to look their best in front of others. The same applies with name brands. To summarise, people will buy it for the brand name.

Finally, if millions of people upgrade their iPhone on a yearly basis, Apple has guaranteed customers who are definitely going to buy anything they produce, regardless of the quality or style.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not calling out anyone. I think the Apple Watch looks great, and I have high hopes. I was not trying to shoot anyone down by writing this article.

Thank you for reading to the end. Come back next week for a brand new post, straight out of the oven.
